Prompt: Write about a time you felt connected to nature, like the kinship in Native American myths.

Prompt Response: A time I felt connected to nature, like the kinship in Native American myths is when I used to camp in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Most of the time I would attend all types of different activities like fishing, hiking, whittling, and exploring. I have vivid memories of my Grandfather helping me catch my first fish and teaching me how to fillet it. Hiking in the mountains makes me feel grounded to the earth below. I will always enjoy nature and will continue to embrace it.

Summary: We took notes on Native American Literature and learned new definitions that have to do with Native American culture.

Reflection: I learned the definition of a Myth.
