Prompt: Think about the vocabulary words from Lesson Two. Write about a time you saw or heard one of these words outside of the classroom — maybe in a movie, song, social media post, or book. Describe how it was used and whether the context helped you understand the word better.

Prompt Response: There has never been a time I saw or heard one of these words outside of the classroom. These words are completely new to me besides the word cosmopolitan. I don't know this word for the definition but for the drink. I've been around the restaurant business my whole life so I know all kinds of drink names that correspond to different references. In summary, these words are completely new to me and I haven't seen the words anywhere.

Summary: I learned about the vocabulary words from Lesson Two.

Reflection: We worked on Lesson 2 vocabulary questions 1 & 4.

Prompt: After watching the short film Identity, write a blog post reflecting on how the masks in the film represent the pressure to fit in and the struggle to discover who you really are. What part of your identity do you want your mask to reveal?
