Prompt: In the spirit of Valentine’s Day week, describe your idea of a perfect day spent with someone you care about (a friend, family member, or significant person in your life).

Prompt Response: My idea of a perfect day spent with someone I care about would be a day full of food and common interests. We'd wake up in the morning to some coffee and a nicely made breakfast. Listen to records throughout the day until the evening. Dinner would come around and we would go for our reservation. We would finally end the night with a movie and go to bed. This is my idea of a perfect day spent with someone I care about.

Summary: I learned about Obama's speech Yes we am.

Reflection: We did a sheet to prepare for our essay.

Prompt: After watching the short film Identity, write a blog post reflecting on how the masks in the film represent the pressure to fit in and the struggle to discover who you really are. Choose one moment from the film that stood out to you and explain why. Then, connect the film’s message to Langston Hughes’ poem “I, Too” and to the mask you are creating in class. What part of your identity do you want your mask to reveal?
