Prompt: Reflect on the simile and metaphor worksheet. Which topic challenged you the most when creating your figurative language, and why? In your response, explain what made that topic difficult and how you worked through the challenge (or what you might do differently next time).

Prompt Response: The topic that challenged me the most when creating my figurative language was "Pressure to Fit In." I really had to think hard about this topic and be truthful with myself on how I feel in society. It's difficult to be yourself In this day in age with the amount of negativity that goes around. I then realized how the world is like a mask that most people won't fit in and refused to wear. This is the topic that challenged me the most when creating my figurative language.

Summary: I learned more about myself while working on this project.

Reflection: We worked on the Rising in My Own Words project.
