Prompt: Today you created similes and metaphors that reflect your struggles, growth, and resilience. In a well-developed paragraph, reflect on the process. What did you learn about yourself while writing your figurative language?

Prompt Response: What I learned about myself while writing my figurative language was the amount of similarity and difference I have with people. All people are different in some way and that's totally fine. Sometimes you'll get phrased for it, judged, or nothing. It really makes you think a different way and humbles you. This is what I learned about myself while writing my figurative language.

Summary: I learned about the requirements on our Digital Poster today.

Reflection: We worked on the Digital Poster (Rising in My Own Words).

Prompt: After watching the short film Identity, write a blog post reflecting on how the masks in the film represent the pressure to fit in and the struggle to discover who you really are. What part of your identity do you want your mask to reveal?
