 Prompt Response: The assignment we did today on vocabulary section 9 was very interesting. I didn't understand most of the words but the one I knew automatically was "bumpkin." The hardest word to understand was "soporific." Picking images and different scenarios definitely helped me start to understand the different meanings of this vocabulary. This is what we did in the assignment today on vocabulary section 9. 

Summary: I learned about the new vocabulary in section 9.

  Prompt Response:  The best gift I have received is a 2012 Gibson Gold-Top Studio (guitar). It had been a guitar I'd been wanting for a long time.   Prompt Response:  T he most compelling issues connected to my research topic are climate change and resource depletion. These issues are very important due to the effect they have on our day to day lives. For example, if there is a water shortage that can both affect our crops and our water supply for needs. Also, climate change affects the whole planet and everything that is surrounded.
