Prompt: Reflect on your past experiences with research in school. What challenges have you faced when working independently or in a group, and how did you handle them? Explain how those experiences will influence the way you approach this current research project.

Prompt Response: My past experiences with research in school have been good but challenging at times. I always do better in a group setting but If i'm trying to dial in and focus on research I prefer being independent. Sometimes it's hard to research something specific with group members due to different variations of data being collected. I think each member should be assigned to a different task for different things. Due to the amount of experience I have researching and collecting data with groups I think I'll do just fine on this research project. This is my past experience with research in school.

Summary: I learned about my topic in class for the research essay project by talking to my classmates.

Reflection: I worked on the research essay project.
